- founded in 1993 by Elżbieta Manthey; it's the first Polish agency that promotes contemporary drama of Polish and foreign authors.

- about the founder:
Born in Wrocław, graduated from Wrocław University on the faculty of knowledge about theatre and culture. From 1982 to 1989 she lived in West Berlin. She is being involved in wide variety of activities concerning theatrical presentations. 

- ADiT's activity:
The agency provides attendance of all copyrights of the plays that are being promoted. It has also had publishing house which edits several volumes of the Anthology of Austrian Contemporary Drama (up to this moment have been released three volumes of Peter Turrini, George Tabori and Felix Mitterer, as well as "Anthologie polnischer Dramen der Gegenwart" on Books' Fair Frankfurt 2000 and "American Plays" included in "Teatr" -4 -6) 
Second branch of ADiT's actions deals with patronizing and protecting Polish
drama. It refers to new generation of playwrights, such as Ingmar Villqist, Jerzy Łukosz, Dagna Ślepowrońska, and others.

- achievements:
* Successful presentation Polish and foreign plays during Festival Above All (Festiwal Festiwali SPOTKANIA) - "The Meetings" in Warsawa, on 11th of November 2002;
* Involvement in producing outstanding play by Margaret Edson - "Wit" (translated by Hanna Szczerkowska, with a leading role of Teresa Budzisz-Krzyżanowska, in Studio Theatre of Warsaw);
* Incoming presentations (world premieres): "Vincent in Brixton" in Ateneum Theatre (translated by Hanna Szczerkowska)
* by the questionnaire of "the Theatre" ("Teatr") magazine the plays translated by Hanna Szczerkowska ("Fuddy Meers" , "Proof" and "Wit" have been announced the foreign plays of the year;
* since we have started operating, we managed to introduce onto stage tens of new presentations. During last year due to ADIT's actions a dozen premieres of Polish and foreign plays was produced;

- new ideas:
The Agency is working on a new model of promoting Polish plays; its project was certified by notary and it was handed over to the Ministry of Culture (2002).
