Zielińska, Aleksandra

Born in 1989, prose-, drama- and screenwriter. Author of novels: Przypadek Alicji (The Case of Alice), Bura i szał (Scolding and frenzy), Sorge and a short story collection Kijanki i kretowiska (Tadpoles and molehills) (all published by W.A.B. publishing house). Nominated to multiple awards: Conrad Award, Gombrowicz Award, Gdynia Award, two-time semi-finalist of Gdynia Drama Award, winner of Competition for Theatre Play for Children and Adolescents, recipient of a stipend for creators awarded by Cracow in theatre and literature category. She debuted as a drama writer with the text Głębiej (Deeper), directed by Małgorzata Wdowik in the Helena Modrzejewska National Stary Theater.
