Farsa narodowa, czyli usynowienie w dobrej cenie

For years, a young architect, Michał, has been trying to curry favour with his right-wing boss by pretending to be someone he's not. He deceives him by ostentatiously showing his faith, political views, and the fact that he has a fiancée - when in fact he is gay. His elaborate scheming is driven by the ultimate goal of succeeding his boss or, in other words, having the company passed onto him from his childless superior. During a formal dinner, Michał introduces his sister, Eliza, as his fiancée, and feigns delight while listening to his boss's plans for a new project – a series of bombastic triumphal arches designed to commemorate Polish martyrdom. Suddenly, Michał's boyfriend, an avid weed smoker, shows up, and for some reason is dressed as a priest (an attire that curiously garners admiration from the boss's sanctimoniously religious wife).

The appearance of the mother of the main character marks a turning point. Beata, a free-thinking individual, expresses disapproval of her son’s deceptive tactics. She criticises him for engaging in the elaborate charade to take over a successful company. Through Beata's actions, the audience becomes aware of a hidden family secret that has might alter the course of everything.....

Subtle allusions to Stanisław Wyspiański’s “The Wedding”, infused with a comedic twist, encourage us, modern audiences, to actively shape reality instead of fixating on empty declarations... There is no shortage of clear references in the play to the current politics in Poland, delving into issues such as LGBT, abortion, Catholicism, the position of women in society. The author skilfully illustrates that all values can be sold for the right price, emphasising how power thrives on the stagnation and compromise of the citizens. This "made in Poland" farce is both amusing and terrifying.

Królowa Ś.

A wonderful reworking of Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen, full of humour and witty dialogues. Little boy Kay is missing. His friend Gerda is in a coma. There wouldn't be anything unusual about it if it weren't for the fact that the girl was found near her house, in the middle of summer, with severe frostbite on her feet. A man named Andersen hires the best detectives in the city to investigate this case: Shnauzer Holmes and Special Agent Cat Cooper. Each of them has different working methods (and interesting intertextual connotations), easily recognized by adult viewers. Will everything end well this time, as in the original play, and will the characters live happily ever after?

W poszukiwaniu Damy Pik

The situation is bad... very bad... very, very bad... very, very, very bad, but not hopeless. A certain King of the Deck of Cards has lost his entire fortune to gambling. So, the foreign properties went to hell, and the debt collectors made a dent in every safe in his castle. The Queen packed her suitcases and left, and the only servants remaining with the King are: Ace of Spades, Jack of Spades and the Joker, the cunning tramps, who persuade their ruler to play in a card tournament and to win back his fortune. Unfortunately, only full decks can take part in the tournament, so the King needs a new Queen - and quickly! An ingenious, farce-like comedy about how to get a woman, how to deal with the adversities of fate, and most importantly: about true male friendship.

Every day in the media we constantly hear that it is important to be yourself. "Be yourself!" - they shout. On the other hand, we are convinced to put on specific, attractive masks and pretend to be someone we are not. Then perhaps the secret to the success is much simpler and can be summed up in two words: truth and honesty? It sounds banal, but it is still worth remembering. All the more so in these busy times. The unpretentious and comedic form does not dictate anything to the viewer and all the more effectively it can make him reflect.

Sztuka na kredyt

She and He want to get divorced, but unfortunately, as is often the case now, their mortgage ties them together forever. He tries to write a computer game that will conquer the world and allow for the repayment of the loan, but she does not have that much patience and decides to take the matter into her own hands. One day she shows up at the apartment with a safe that was robbed from a bank. Now the spouses are joined also by a common crime. As if that wasn't enough, they are being pursued by an inexperienced Detective and Amor, who is threatened with dismissal if He and She split up. When it turns out that all the protagonists are just playing a computer game, the matter gets even more complicated.

The incredible twists and turns of the action keep you at the edge of your seat until the last scene, and the witty and light dialogues that sparkle with wit and finesse form the perfect basis for showing off acting skills.

Odysseus Geron

Odysseus and Penelope's apartment. The world forgot about them. Odysseus is no longer a hero, centuries or perhaps millennia have passed since the journey around the world lauded by Homer; the former hero of the Trojan War leads a peaceful, routine life, has high blood pressure, has to cut down on salt and take pills. Every now and then he loses grasp on things and forgets where he put something away. Penelope keeps an eye on him with the persistence typical of old wives. In a fast-paced world where the cult of Achilles reigns, few seem to remember the hero of the Odyssey. An opportunity to remind the world of himself comes in the form of a young editor who intends to write a biographical book about the old hero. However, the problem is that the editor has no intention of listening to the stories of the crazy old man, he came with ready-made figures to which he would like to match the stories straight from a tabloid: romance and scandal. Will Odysseus agree to this in order to regain his fame?

A poignantly true story about old age and disappearance from society's sight.

Koci koci łapci

After the collapse of the Gdańsk Shipyard, its former employees disappeared from the sight of the authorities and the public. The plant abandoned by people was taken over by cats. Once a vibrant bar "Krysia" becomes the last bastion for the former shipyard workers: lonely, abandoned and unnecessary, waiting for another wind of change. However, is there any force or idea that could still tear them out of their stagnation and dullness, becoming an impulse to fight for what they have lost?

The drama's authors ask a question about the legacy of Solidarity: what led to the fact that the great idea we still boast about as a nation brought disappointment, a sense of rejection and loneliness to so many people? What happened to the ideals that were on everyone's lips in the 1990s?

In poignant, intelligent and bitter dialogues, everyone gets what's coming to them: politicians manipulating history, bribed footballers, environmental activists, young people and ordinary bread-winners. A very bitter, yet very accurate diagnosis of the condition of contemporary Poland.
