Michał Bajer was born in 1981 in Poznań. He is the author of five plays:
- NIGHT WATCH (2004), written as part of the TR Warszawa project and read at Teatr Rozmaitości (Variety Theatre) in Warsaw under the direction of Grzegorz Jarzyna in 2004.
- STUDY IN SCARLET (2004), a miniature written and staged as part of the "Korek" project at the Bazart Festival at Teatr Stary (The Old Theatre) in Cracow, directed by Michał Zadara, 2004.

- An award in the competition for Polish contemporary play "Eurodrama" at the Polish Theatre in Wrocław (2004) for the play Verklarte nacht.
- Distinction of the Minister of Culture in the XI National Competition for the Exhibition of Polish Contemporary Art (2005) for the play Verklarte nacht.
- Distinction in the drama competition organised by Teatr Stary (The Old Theatre) under the patronage of Krystian Lupa in 2004 for the play Night watch.
